www.g3c.org.uk
- Gorse Covert Community Church, Birchwood, Warrington. A new Church
service established by members of Birchwood Evangelical Church, reaching out to people
in the Gorse Covert area of Birchwood. Public services began in January 2006 and services are held on Sunday evenings, particularly aiming
to reach those who are new to Church and Christianity. There is an
extensive links page to other Christian websites.
As part of the website team, I serve as the editor of this site.

www.wa3.me.uk
- Another website from the same church, created to support its community
projects. The first was "40 Days of Community in WA3",
a community campaign in the autumn of 2006. In 2008 it is also being
used to support Hope 08 and later in the year there are
likely to be further changes.
Christian Music

www.christomlin.com
- I first heard of Chris Tomlin in August 2006 after I searched for the
lyrics for a worship song that we've been singing at Church
since May 2006. I ended up buying a CD of his from one of the
on-line stores on the G3C
links page as a result. The song is called
"Indescribable" and is featured on the albums
"Arriving" and "Live from Austin Music Hall".
The music is brilliant and the song-words and message are incredible,
combining to make it one of the most powerful
worship songs I've ever heard. The other tracks on the live CD are
equally strong with plenty of rock style guitar work, adding Chris
Tomlin's unique interpretation to some familiar worship songs.

www.yazzmusic.co.uk
- Yazz first shot to fame as a pop singer in the 1980s. During 2008, I
discovered that she had released a new album "Running Back to You"
celebrating her Christian faith. After buying it I was not
disappointed. Musically, it is a mix of pop and R&B with a nice sax solo
on "So Glad". Yazz's style has mellowed considerably since her
chart topping days and this album is a pleasing blend of styles and tempos
making it very listenable and relaxing. Each song is an expression of
her Christian faith and many of the tracks were composed by Yazz. Her interpretation of "You are my
Daily Bread" (Marie Barnett's "Breathe") is simply stunning.
