Carnival 2008 | Carnival 2007

Birchwood Carnival is an annual event held in May or June each year in the main playing field at Birchwood Forest Park.  A lot of planning and had work goes into organising the event, coordinated by the local Park Rangers.

This page currently has small galleries of photos taken during the 2008 and 2007 Carnival.  I hope to add more in future years.

Highlights for me included the pig racing, followed later by the attempts to round up one of the contestants who had made a bid for freedom, and the impressive collection of local history articles and photos arranged by ranger Gaynor.
