A small gallery of Christmas lights within Birchwood and slightly further afield in Warrington Town Centre during November and December 2007.

2008
The Christmas lights were switched on for 2008 on 20th November.  Natasha Hamilton and Birchwood's George Sampson were both performing and the event culminated in a fireworks display.

2007
All taken just as the Centre was closing about 4.30 pm on Sunday 23rd December 2007.

Chadwick House, Birchwood Park

Warrington Town Centre

Taken in November 2007, on two evenings, just after the shops had shut.  Around Christmas time, there was a skating rink in the Old Market Square.  The third picture below was taken after the Christmas lights had been switched on, but before the rink was in place.

For 2008, the lights in Warrington were switched on by Birchwood's newest star George Sampson, on 13th November.  Here's a short video (about a minute) of the lights as they were switched on.
